01 Our commitment

Our mission is to make IP education accessible — and that starts with the website and training itself. We want people of all abilities, including those using assistive technology, to be able to browse our site, enrol in courses, and complete our training without barriers.

We're working toward this on an ongoing basis. This statement is a transparent, honest account of where we are today, not a claim of full compliance.

02 Conformance standard

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our target standard — the benchmark widely used across Australia and internationally, and referenced in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) context for online services.

03 Current conformance status

Our website is built on Wix, which provides a number of accessibility features out of the box. Overall, we consider the site partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA — meaning most content meets the standard, with some areas still being improved.

04 Accessibility measures we take

• Using Wix's built-in accessibility tools, including semantic headings, alt text on images, and keyboard-navigable menus;

• Maintaining sufficient colour contrast between text and background across the site;

• Writing plain-English content — genuinely readable copy is core to our teaching approach, not just an accessibility add-on;

• Structuring pages with clear headings and logical reading order for screen readers;

• Reviewing new pages and course content for accessibility issues before publishing; and

• Working toward captions and transcripts for our video training modules.

 

05 Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some parts of the site and training may not yet be fully accessible:

• Course videos — captions and full transcripts are being progressively added across our video modules; not all are captioned yet.

• Third-party widgets — payment checkout, course delivery (Wix Online Programs), and embedded LinkedIn/YouTube content are provided by external platforms, and their accessibility is managed by those providers rather than us directly.

• PDF documents — certificates and some downloadable materials may not be fully screen-reader optimised.

06 Third-party content & platforms

Our website and course delivery rely on third-party platforms (Wix, payment processors, LinkedIn, YouTube). While we choose reputable providers and configure them as accessibly as we can, we don't have full control over their underlying code. We encourage you to also review the accessibility information published by these providers.

07 Using assistive technology

Our site is designed to work with common assistive technologies, including screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver), screen magnification, speech recognition, and keyboard-only navigation. If a particular tool or browser combination isn't working well with our site, please tell us — that feedback directly shapes what we fix next.

If you experience any difficulty accessing content, or need information in an alternative format, please get in touch — we aim to respond within a reasonable time and will do our best to provide the content or assistance you need another way.
