Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Imagine IP website, your purchase of individual courses, and any organisation training engagement. By using our site or purchasing our services, you agree to them.

Last updated: 8 July 2026

01 Who these terms apply to

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are between you and Imagine IP Pty Ltd (ACN 696 664 927) ("Imagine IP", "we", "us", "our"), and apply to anyone who visits our website, enrols in a course, or engages us for organisation training. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

02 Using our website

You may browse and use our website for lawful, personal or internal business purposes. You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce or redistribute our content beyond what's permitted under our intellectual property terms below;

  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our website, systems, or course platform;

  • Use our website to transmit anything unlawful, harmful, or infringing of another's rights.

We may update, suspend or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.

03 Individual course purchases

Our self-paced courses are purchased individually through our website for a one-time fee, granting you lifetime access to that course.

  • Access — once purchased, you may access the course modules at your own pace, complete the assessment quiz, and (on passing) receive a certificate of completion, CPD point record, and LinkedIn badge, where applicable.

  • Personal use — your access is for your own individual learning. You must not share your login, resell, or redistribute course content.

  • Refunds — because courses grant immediate digital access, purchases are generally non-refundable once a course has been accessed, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law. Contact us if you believe a refund is warranted.

  • CPD points — CPD point values are indicative; you are responsible for confirming how a completed course counts toward your own professional body's requirements.

04 Organisation training engagements

Training delivered to organisations (Ready-Made, Ready-Made + Your Policy, Bespoke, and Partner Studio engagements) is quote-based rather than purchased through checkout.

  • Quotes — pricing shown on our website (e.g. "from" prices) is indicative. A binding price is confirmed in a written quote specific to your organisation and requirements.

  • Agreement — engagements proceed under a separate standard-form services agreement, which sets out scope, delivery timeframes, fees, and each party's obligations, and prevails over these Terms to the extent of any inconsistency.

  • Delivery on spec — we produce and deliver finished training videos according to the agreed scope. Material changes to scope after the quote is accepted may incur additional fees.

  • Custom content (Ready-Made + Your Policy, Bespoke) — where you provide your own policy content or materials for us to incorporate, you confirm you have the right to share that material with us, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of your own policy content.

05 Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • All course content, videos, graphics, text and materials on our website and within our courses are owned by, or licensed to, Imagine IP PTY LTD and are protected by copyright, trade marks or other intellectual property laws;

  • Purchasing a individual course grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and view that content — it does not transfer ownership of the content to you;

  • For organisation engagements, ownership and licensing of the delivered videos will be set out in the services agreement for that engagement;

  • Our name, logo and branding are trademarks of Imagine IP and may not be used without our permission.

Some of our free content uses stylised, LEGO®-inspired imagery created with generative AI. Imagine IP is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the LEGO Group or its affiliates.

06 Not legal advice

Our courses and content are educational only. They are designed to build general understanding of intellectual property concepts and are not a substitute for personalised legal advice. Nothing in our courses, website, or organisation training creates a solicitor-client relationship, and you should seek advice from a qualified professional before making decisions about your specific IP matters.

07 Accounts & acceptable use

Where our course platform requires an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

08 Third-party platforms

Our website, course delivery and payments rely on third-party platforms (including Wix, Wix Online Programs, and payment processors). Your use of those platforms may also be subject to their own terms. We aren't responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services outside our control.

09 Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Imagine IP excludes all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, and our liability for any claim arising from your use of our website or services is limited to, at our option, re-supplying the relevant course or service, or refunding the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

10 Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to a course or our website if we reasonably believe you've breached these Terms, misused our content, or engaged in unlawful conduct. Organisation engagements are governed by the termination terms in the relevant services agreement.

11 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

12 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the "last updated" date shown above. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
